Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
This has to be my favorite scripture. It is so powerful when we understand and receive a full revelation of that verse. We were crucified with Christ, our old nature was nailed to the cross. The life we have now received is the risen life of Jesus. We are seated with Him at the right hand of the Father, that is the rest that we have entered into. When we fully understand that revelation, that truth sets us so free, we fully walk in the spirit because our flesh has been crucified (past tense). "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5:21 This is another liberating scripture "For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." Romans 8:3,4 The bride has made herself ready by believing and receiving the gospel of the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Spirit of Truth, the free gift of His righteousness there is nothing of self in this transformation. All works of law, striving and performance, all effort and self righteousness has come to an end, when we come to the place of understanding that we are 100% complete in Him. “ and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:10 Amen. ~ Murray Coulter
