CHRISTIANS WILL NEVER BE FORGIVEN AGAIN. WE ARE FORGIVEN ONCE.

Before the Cross, animal blood sacrifices were made again and again for the sins of the people. The person offering the animal blood also had to present blood for their own sins too. They never sat down because this work was never complete.
When Jesus died, He offered His blood once and for all time. Further, He didn't have to offer blood for Himself because He had no sin. When He finished this task He sat down at the right hand of God.
The truth is:
  • BLOOD IS THE ONLY WAY GOD FORGIVES YOU (Heb 9:22).
  • GOD DOES NOT FORGIVE YOU LIKE PEOPLE DO. People want to be asked, God does not. He wants you to believe, not ask.
  • THE WORDS "ASK FOR FORGIVENESS" ARE NOT IN THE BIBLE. Blood must be shed. Why do you think Jesus had to die like He did?
Thankfully, no bloody sacrifice is left for your sin, Christian. Jesus finished everything for you.
  • Continual repentance doesn't continually forgive you. It's not blood. A one-time repentance of unbelief in the power of the Son of God is what saves—not a lifetime of behavior/attitude repentance. If this weren't the case, we are right back to a works-based theology which is anti-Cross. We repent of poor behaviors and immature thinking because we are completely forgiven, not to be repeatedly forgiven. Such would negate the blood of Jesus. Your forgiveness issue with God is over. Deal with it in a much different way than thinking you have to keep changing what you do and don't do.
  • Continual confession doesn't continually forgive you. It's not blood. Plus, what about the sins you forget to confess? God doesn't forget just because you do. BLOOD MUST BE OFFERED. 1 John 1:9 is directed at unbelievers, not Christians; people who said they had never sinned. Read the entire chapter, not just one verse. This is an invitation for them to join us. Christians are addressed in the next chapter. In chapter 1, these unbelievers who said they never sinned needed to confess or agree with God that they needed forgiveness. This is why it says He's faithful to forgive them of all unrighteousness once they confess. ALL MEANS ALL.
Jesus isn't in heaven getting up and down off the Cross every time you sin. It's finished. He's resting now, so you can too.
Once you've believed, you are completely forgiven forever and there's nothing you can do to change this. The only thing which could possibly change your complete forgiveness is if the Father and Son break their promise to one another.
That won't happen. You are not more powerful than His blood and their promise. For those who will yell at me, "So, are you saying we can just sin, sin, SIN!?" it sounds like you're more obsessed with your sins than you are the Savior. You should question your salvation because you're saying you are more powerful than Christ's blood because you still sin. We all do. My friend, you're not more powerful. You are simply one of His many creations. With all due respect, get over yourself and make a bigger deal of Jesus. Repent of not believing His blood will forgive you completely, once, before it's too late. You are an enemy of God with this mindset. You are saying there's still a sacrifice to be made for your sins and that the blood of Christ was not sufficient. Please, please repent of your unbelief in the blood of the Messiah. You will be eternally separated from Him if you do not.
For the rest of us who have believed, we are safe and secure forever! Don't shrink back from this truth or be afraid of the self-righteous legalists who don't trust the blood of Jesus!
NEVER WATER DOWN WHAT HE'S DONE AT THE CROSS! IT IS MORE POWERFUL THAN ANYTHING OR ANYONE!
